Pros: One coffee shop, and the Chinese restaurant. Aside from that… nothing.
Cons: l've worked out here for 15+ years and lived here for almost 6, and I've grown to hate this place more and more each day. The locals are nosy and snobbish, the town is severely overcrowded, all of the restaurants are just awful except for the Chinese restaurant and ONE of the coffee shops, rent and house prices are absurdly high, not to mention the non stop road work for the $84M bypass, which is scheduled to take FOUR YEARS to complete. Traffic was already bad, the most entitled and idiotic drivers in the county live here it seems. And to top it all off, we're less than ten minutes away from one of the most dangerous cities in the entire state, good ole Winston Salem, and I fear it's a matter of time before those criminals start migrating up here. I'm moving somewhere much more rural when my lease is up. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Because it WILL cost you. Literally. It's expensive here.
