The rules and conditions for using Rate My City.

1. Acceptance of Terms

When you submit a review, rating, or other content to Rate My City, you agree to the following:

a.Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you create. However, by submitting content, you grant Rate My City a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Service.
b.Accuracy: You represent that your reviews are based on genuine personal experience and are truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
c.Guidelines: All content must comply with our Community Guidelines. Content that violates these guidelines may be removed without notice.
d.Moderation: All submissions are subject to review and approval by our moderation team. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or edit any content at our sole discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users or individuals
Submit spam, advertisements, or promotional material
Manipulate ratings by submitting multiple reviews for the same location
Attempt to access restricted areas of the website or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

City data, geographic information, and map tiles are sourced from public databases and third-party providers (including OpenStreetMap contributors) under their respective licenses.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any reviews, ratings, or other content on the Service. User-generated reviews represent the opinions of individual contributors and do not reflect the views of Rate My City.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information found on the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rate My City and its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Content Removal
