Pros: The library and the ymca are excellent.
A few nice restaurants on the main road…
Close enough to all the normal amenities.
One nice park.
Cons: They won’t ever improve it because the town is built on mushroom farming but the smell is awful. I moved here from Colorado on a work contract for 6 months and could not wait to get back… Good god.
Some of the yocals loved telling me
“its the smell of money” lol
You could not pay me to live here the people here either have given up on life or have no sense of smell or both.
People here think 1600 for a studio in a town that smells like the ocean took a dump in ur nostrils every morning lol.
The whole town is basically just two blocks on the main street. There is victory brewing and the creamery if thats your thing but honestly this town is depressing.
if it didnt smell maybe but i never had a guest not mention it at the least or just had people leave because of it. its that bad.
Dont listen to the “get used to its”.
Apparently there are a few acres of polluted land they want to dig up and actually build on/ stores etc lol. idiots.

Pros: Easy to get out of.
It basically one road through the town.
All the three good things are on this one road too so thats great!
Cons: Its not cheap to rent or buy considering how awful it smells and how boring the actual area is itself.
The people are… interesting? lol
If the people here were a spice they would be flour.
If you aren’t a senior citizen or an immigrant mushroom worker there is 0 reason to be here.
Its that simple.
Oh and I almost forgot.

50/50 chance you are losing power. Its not normal to lose power a dozen times a year sometimes for more than 12 hrs!!!!
